ENROLL AT EDGE@West

There are the steps to enroll at EDGE@West Teen Center.

These are three steps to enroll at EDGE Teen Center.

Located within the MidPointe Library West Chester Community Rooms, Mondays through Fridays from 3:00pm-5:00pm.

  1. The student registration form needs to be downloaded, filled out, and turned in prior to their second visit. Note: Teens may visit EDGE one time before fees and completed forms are required.
  2. Each parent/guardian must read and sign the Teen Code of Conduct.
  3. For any parent/guardian who consents to allow their teen to receive counseling services must download, fill out and return this additional Consent for Treatment form.
  4. There are no fees associated with EDGE@West for the 2022-23 school year.

Completed EDGE@West Registration Forms can be sent to zach@edgeteencenter.com, dropped by the EDGE@East Teen Center (call for summer operating hours 513-755-2400), or turned in by the participating teen upon their first or second visit to EDGE.


PROGRAMS AT EDGE@West

MONDAY

Academic Success- Tutoring: Adult volunteers/staff will be available for tutoring, including Math, History, Spanish, Language Arts, Chemistry & Biology.
Life Skills- Teen Leadership Group: Teens will engage in large group discussions to learn skills and discuss what it means to be a positive and impactful leader now and in the future. Teens will get to hear from guest speakers as well as put their skills into action by developing opportunities and initiatives to support EDGE.
Community Service: Teens will complete various service projects offsite under the supervision of EDGE community service coordinator, Browyn. Projects include: Reach Out Lakota, PAWS Adoption Center, Hamilton Urban Garden Systems, Hope’s Closet, Bicycle Recycle, and others.

TUESDAY

Academic Success- Tutoring: Adult volunteers/staff will be available for tutoring, including Math, History, Spanish, Language Arts, Chemistry & Biology.
Life Skills: Teens will participate in learning and building Life Skills that are important as they move into adulthood. Some of the Life Skills they will learn will be the basics of cooking, sewing, car maintenance, minor repairs and construction and how to handle basic medical emergencies.
Healthy Living– Mental Health Individual Counseling: Teens may seek out individual counseling with Cassie, a licensed counselor from Focus On Youth, our mental health provider. (An additional consent form is necessary for individual counseling, this form is included in our registration packet).
Community Service: Teens will complete various service projects offsite under the supervision of EDGE community service coordinator, Browyn. Projects include: Reach Out Lakota, PAWS Adoption Center, Hamilton Urban Garden Systems, Hope’s Closet, Bicycle Recycle, and others.

WEDNESDAY

Academic Success- Tutoring: Adult volunteers/staff will be available for tutoring, including Language Arts and Math.
Healthy Living- Mental Health Break Out Groups: Teens will be able to meet with Cassie, a licensed counselor from Focus On Youth, our mental health provider. Teens will engage in large group discussions to learn skills and discuss how to cope with different aspects of their lives. Topics will vary from anxiety, grief, coming from blended families, depression, eating disorders, and relationships. Teens that have signed a Focus On Youth release form, can also sign up for time slots to have one on one discussions with Cassie.
Community Service: Teens will complete various service projects offsite under the supervision of EDGE community service coordinator, Browyn. Projects include: Reach Out Lakota, PAWS Adoption Center, Hamilton Urban Garden Systems, Hope’s Closet, Bicycle Recycle, and others.

THURSDAY
