LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, OHIO (For Immediate Release) – Throughout September and October, EDGE Teen Center will be the charity honoree of the Liberty Center Foundation’s Change for Charities program where a portion of parking meter proceeds at Liberty Center benefit local non-profits. Six charities were chosen by the Foundation earlier this year and they include: Boys and Girls Club of West Chester/Liberty, EDGE Teen Center, Every Child Succeeds, Reach Out Lakota, Talbert House and The Dragonfly Foundation.

EDGE Teen Center serves the needs of local teens, with a mission to “empower students to impact the world.” The after-school center serves more than 500 high school students each school year, providing mentoring relationships with caring adults and investing in the success of teens in the areas of life skill development, healthy living and academic achievement.“EDGE Teen Center is providing important services and programs to support teens and their families in our community,” said Kevin Cedik, General Manager of Liberty Center. “Liberty Center is pleased to support the programs of EDGE Teen Center with our Change for Charities initiative.”

“We are grateful to Liberty Center for choosing EDGE Teen Center as a charity honorary,” said Annie Droege, Teen Center Director at EDGE Teen Center. “We also look forward to our teens serving as ambassadors at Liberty Center through our Community Service Program.”

At Liberty Center, there are 204 parking meters with an additional 4,400 parking spots in adjacent lots and garages. For more information about the Liberty Center Foundation, visit www.liberty-center.com/Guest-Information/Liberty-Center-Foundation.
