ABOUT EDGE

EMPOWERING STUDENTS TO IMPACT THE WORLD

VISION

To provide high school students with a diverse, youth-driven teen center dedicated to creating life-on-life mentoring relationships with caring adults through community service opportunities, social activities, tutoring, counseling and life skills courses.

WHAT IS EDGE?

EDGE is located at 7568 Wyandot Lane, within walking distance to Lakota East High School and the Lakota Freshman building. It’s a 4,000 square-foot non-profit facility in Liberty Township, OH, where teens are valued and accepted.

At EDGE teens can…

EAT

Snacks, smoothies and drinks are available at the café for a small price.

LEARN

  • Filtered Internet café
  • Quiet areas to study and do homework after school
  • Conference room can be booked for study groups

SERVE

EDGE Teen Center helps students who are in need of community service hours by linking them with local agencies in need of volunteers. EDGE provides transportation to/from service sites, as well as a description of service and hours served. We make it easy for students to serve our surrounding community. For more info on this opportunity please Click here: Community Service Opportunities.

CONNECT

Instead of being alone at home, teens have opportunities to connect with new friends and develop meaningful relationships with adults who care about them.

HANG OUT

Teens can hang out with friends, play video games on one of our gaming consoles (Wii, Wii U, Gamecube, PS2, PS3, Xbox One), or play a game of foosball, pool, ping pong, or air hockey. They can also take part in outdoor events and art activities.

VOLUNTEER

EDGE Teen Center is a place where any high school student can help bring the programming & events they want to life. They can also work at the front desk or cafe’.

AN OPPORTUNITY
